So what's the deal with mentors? Are there really people out there in today's world that are actually dependable and intelligent enough to inspire people to look up to them? Cause you all know how disappointing people can be...so how do you come to grips with the fact that everyone will at some point in time let you down, screw you over, and generally trample all over your feelings.
I guess that's a part of growing up though....realizing that things aren't as limitless and idealistic as you thought when you were younger. And learning to love people despite them disappointing you is really a true measure of characture.
